I'm bringing back some favorites on the Jessicakes' blog, and "Merchandise Monday" is one of them. I've been waiting for a good Monday to display this little baby, and I think today is the day!
Here, my readership, is the Sunbeam Cupcake Maker 5000. Okay, so "5000" isn't part of the name, but it sure makes it that much cooler doesn't it!?
This Cupcake Maker makes six cupcakes at a time in just ten minutes. And it LOOKS like a cupcake. How much cuter can they make it? I secretly wanted this for Christmas, but realized that for the amount of cupcakes I make (flashback to 400 minis) that this would not be so helpful.
There are a couple other flaws, such as most mixes produce 24 cupcakes. That means 40+ minutes of cupcake making. Yikes. The cost is around $50 for one of these, though Amazon is selling it for a few dollars less.
I am tempted to get one of these for my niece, whom I bought an Easy Bake Oven for about 4 years before the recommended age for the product (which is 8). She loves baking basically as much as me and I can see her squealing with delight over this baby.
